I like to describe classic cars & trucks like these as "beat but complete" and these replicas definitely need it all. In all honesty, most wouldn't even be a decent parts car. What are the Junkyard Jewels “Easy Restoration” diecasts?

The Junkyard Jewels “Easy Restoration” Series begin as highly detailed 1/18 scale die cast replicas offered by Ertl, GMP, Lanes and other quality 1/18 scale diecast manufacturers.

They feature opening doors & hood, detailed interiors, engine compartments and chassis's. The steering wheel even turns the front wheels!

Each die-cast is completely disassembled and then even MORE detail is added. Then, a multi-step process is used to add weathering, faded paint, rust, dirt, grease and grime. Don't worry, the weathering, rust, dirt, grease and grime is permanent, you won't get your hands dirty working on this one!

After completion, each Junkyard Jewel is mounted in its original box & display base, complete with identification tag, ready to be added to your collection. You can easily remove the replicas from the display base if desired.

Each Junkyard Jewel is individually serial numbered, authenticating it as a genuine Junkyard Jewel.

Since each Junkyard Jewel is detailed and "unrestored" by hand, no two will EVER be exactly alike! No "mass production", each replica takes many hours to complete, we couldn't mass produce them if we wanted to!

It's the little details that make the difference!

When was the last time you saw a rusted out junker that still had all four factory mag wheels or hubcaps?

This is an area where most of the other unrestored diecasts fall short. We manufacture our own "plain steel wheels" for our Junkyard Jewels for that added realism you won't find anywhere else.
